On the road to Fairbanks

My friend Marian from Maryland is visiting for two weeks. We decided to go to Fairbanks for the start of the Yukon quest. Driving yesterday was perfect. Clear blue sky, little wind and decent temps. Here are some photos we took along the way. We saw Denali for the first couple hours of the drive---stunning!!
